Carlos Alberto Valencia (born 28 April 1989 in Santa Marta) is a Colombian left wing back who plays for Godoy Cruz Antonio
Tomba in Argentina. Valencia left Colombia at the age of 15 to go and play in the River Plate youth academy. He was initially
developed as an Attacking Midfielder, but at the age of 17 when he joined the River 1st team he was used as a left-back, and
to take corners and throw ins.

on the Colombian Sub 20 that failed to qualify for the 2007 World Cup. After an impressive season at America de Cali in Colombia

football team goalie Agustín Julio, and is currently playing in Copa Postobon team so he can get playing time as he is a great
prospect for the future.
