Andoni Zubizarreta Urreta is a former Spanish football goalkeeper, and the all-time most capped player for the Spanish national
team. Despite being born in Vitoria-Gasteiz he spent his childhood in Aretxabaleta. Zubizarreta started his playing career
at his hometown club of Aretxabaleta (1977–79), club named UDA. He then played for Deportivo Alavés (1979–80). He then went
on to play for Athletic Bilbao (1980–86), where he won two successive La Liga championships in 1983 and 1984.
Aitor Karanka de la Hoz is a retired Spanish footballer, in the central defender position. On occasion, he occupied the left
back slot. He played mostly for Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid and was also a Spain and Euskadi XI international.

defender. His main assets are good defensive positioning and a no-nonsense attitude.
Jesús Luis Álvarez de Eulate, commonly known as Koldo, is a naturalized Andorran football goalkeeper, who has been representing
the Andorra national football team. He currently plays for Andorra in the Spanish Divisiones Regionales de Fútbol. He was
the substitute goalkeeper in the Atlético Madrid team that won the Copa del Rey 1991 Final.
