Raúl González Blanco, usually known simply as Raúl, is a Spanish football forward who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid for
whom he is the all-time leading goalscorer. He is a three-time winner of the UEFA Champions League and has long been the competition's
all-time leading goal scorer. He has also scored more goals (44) for the Spanish national team than any player in history.
Rafael "Rafa" Benítez Maudes (Born 16 April 1960) is a Spanish football manager and the current manager of Liverpool Football
Club. Born in Madrid, Benítez played football throughout his youth and joined the Real Madrid academy. He mixed his university
studies with his football career at lower division Spanish teams but injury caused him to prematurely retire.
Francesc "Cesc" Fàbregas i Soler (born 4 May 1987) is a professional central midfielder who captains the English Premier League
club Arsenal and plays for the Spanish national team. Fàbregas started his career as a trainee with Barcelona but was signed
by Arsenal in September 2003 at the age of sixteen. Following injuries to key midfielders in the 2004–05 season, he established
himself as Arsenal's starting central midfielder and playmaker.
David Villa Sánchez (born 3 December 1981), nicknamed El Guaje (The Kid in Asturian) is a Spanish footballer, who currently
plays as a striker for Valencia CF and Spain. Despite a career threatening injury endured as a child, he started his professional
career with Sporting de Gijón and made his debut in 2000 in Spain's Segunda División. He moved to Real Zaragoza after two
seasons, leaving Gijón with a total of 38 goals and 80 appearances.
Iker Casillas Fernández; is a Spanish football goalkeeper who plays for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and as captain of
the Spanish national team. He is currently first-choice goalkeeper for both club and country. As captain of the national side,
he led a young Spanish team to their first European Championship in 44 years. He was ranked 4th in the 2008 Ballon d'Or, higher
than any other goalkeeper in that year.
Xavier Hernández i Creus, commonly known as Xavi, is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for
Spanish La Liga club FC Barcelona. Widely considered among the finest playmakers in world football, Xavi was named the official
Man of the Match of the 2009 Champions League Final as he helped FC Barcelona defeat Manchester United to win their third
European Cup.
