Matt Calland is the head coach at Halifax RLFC. He has played at Featherstone Rovers, Bradford Bulls, Rochdale Hornets and
has been capped by England. Matt was named the assistant coach at Halifax in June 2006. Martin Hall moved upstairs in October
to take up the post of director of football. Calland was then named the new head coach of Halifax RLFC.
Jay Pitts (born 9th Dec 1989) is a professional rugby league footballer who at club level has played for Wakefield Trinity
Wildcats, and Leeds Rhinos, playing at the back row. Jay has now signed a contract with the Leeds Rhinos beginning at the
end of the 2009 season.
Ryan James Burge (born 12 October 1988) is an English footballer. He began his career at Birmingham City where he signed a
3 year professional contract at the age of 17, before leaving by mutual consent in 2008, shortly after former manager Steve
Bruce. Later in the year he went on trial at League 1 side Cheltenham Town where he was offered a contract by former manager
Keith Downing, before joining Barnet.
Benjamin Redwood Sedgemore (born August 5, 1975 in Wolverhampton) is an English footballer, currently playing for Stamford.
His brother Jake Sedgemore is also a footballer.
