Gregory James "Greg" LeMond is a former professional road bicycle racer from the United States and a three-time winner of the Tour de France. He was born in Lakewood, California. In 1986, LeMond became the first American cyclist to win the race.

 
 
Tony Rominger

Tony Rominger

Tony Rominger is a Swiss former professional road racing cyclist who won the Vuelta a España in 1992, 1993 and 1994 and the Giro d'Italia in 1995. He began cycling late, allegedly spurred by competition with his brother. Rominger's strengths were time-trialling, climbing and recuperation. He was a challenger to Miguel Indurain in the Tour de France, placing second in 1993 and winning the polka dot jersey. His three wins in the Vuelta is a record.

Luis Herrera

Luis Alberto "Lucho" Herrera known as "el jardinerito" (the little gardener) is a retired Colombian road racing cyclist. Herrera was a professional from 1985 to 1992 but had a successful amateur career before that in Colombia. He entered his first Vuelta a Colombia in 1981 where he finished 16th overall and 3rd in the New Rider competition. Although he abandoned his second Vuelta a Colombia in 1982, he won Colombia's second major stage-race the Clásico RCN.

Malcolm Elliott is an English professional cyclist, whose professional career has lasted from 1984 to 1997 when he retired and then from 2003 up to the present day when he made his comeback in British domestic racing. Known as a sprinter, his career includes two stages and the points jersey in the Vuelta a España, two gold medals in the Commonwealth Games, and winning the amateur Milk Race and its professional version, the Kellogg's Tour.

Brent Patterson (BMX rider)

Brent Hathaway Patterson is a former American "Old School" bicycle motocross (BMX) racer. Brent Patterson is the elder of what was the most potent sibling combinations that bicycle motocross has ever seen. With Brian, the Brothers Patterson are the only brothers to both hold the National No.1 Pro title in any major BMX sanctioning body; Brent in 1980 and Brian in 1982 and 1983 in the American Bicycle Association.

Tinker Juarez

David Juarez is a former professional "Old School" Bicycle Motocross (BMX) racer and current top mountain bike racer whose prime competitive years in BMX were from 1978 to 1984 and in mountain bike racing 1986 to the present. Since 1986, he has been a mountain bike racer and since late 2005, competing as a ultra-distance road bike racer. In all three disciplines, he has won numerous national and international competitions.
