Richard Virenque

Richard Virenque is a retired French professional road racing cyclist. He was one of the most popular French riders with fans for his boyish personality and his long, lone attacks. He was a climber, winning the King of the Mountains competition of the Tour de France a record seven times. In 1998 he was the central figure in a widespread doping scandal.

Joan Llaneras

Joan Llaneras Roselló is a Spanish World and Olympic points race champion track cyclist who specialises in the madison and points race events. Llaneras began his cycling career on the road with the ONCE professional cycling team, but switched to concentrate on track cycling. A four time world champion in the points race and three times in the Madison. He is a double Olympic champion, winning the event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and in Beijing in 2008.

Pavel Tonkov

Pavel Sergeyevich Tonkov is a former professional road racing cyclist from Russia. His talents were first showcased when winning the world junior title as part of the Soviet Union team in 1987. This alerted the world to his talents and he turned pro in 1992 with the RUSS-Baïkal team. His biggest success was the overall win in the 1996 edition of the Giro d'Italia. He also placed 2nd in the following two editions of the Italian race.

 
 
Jaan Kirsipuu

Jaan Kirsipuu

Jaan Kirsipuu is an Estonian road bicycle racer, living in Estonia. Kirsipuu initially retired at the end of the 2006, but participated in the 2007 Estonian championship, becoming time trial champion for the sixth time. In 2008 he was the manager of Latvian UCI Continental cycling team Rietumu Banka - Rīga. In 2009 he joined Team Giant-Veoila. At his peak he was one of Estonia's top athletes. He is the only rider to drop out of the Tour de France 13 consecutive times.

Giovanni Lombardi

Giovanni Lombardi

Giovanni Lombardi (born July 20, 1969) is an Italian former professional road bicycling racer who raced from 1992 to 2006. He started his career as a sprinter, winning multiple stages in the Giro d'Italia. He went on to ride as an important helper for the top sprinter names of Erik Zabel and Mario Cipollini. Most recently, he rode for Team CSC as a helper for Ivan Basso.
