Robbie McEwen is an Australian professional road bicycle racer, for the Katusha team on the UCI ProTour, specializing in sprint
finishes. As a triple winner of the Tour de France's sprinters' classification, at his peak, he was considered one of the
fastest sprinters in the world. A former junior Australian BMX champion, McEwen switched to road racing in 1990 at 18. He
was first selected for the Australian national road team in 1994.
Michael Boogerd is a Dutch former professional road bicycle racer. He was one of the leaders of a generation of Dutch cyclists
in the late 1990s and early 2000s, together with teammate Erik Dekker, even inspiring Dutch authors to write a book called
"Michael & Erik" about this generation, and the two of them in particular. He began his professional career in 1994, joining
WordPerfect. In 1995 the team changed name to Novell, before Rabobank in 1996 became main sponsor and name for the team.
Santiago Botero Echeverry is a Colombian professional road bicycle racer. He has been a pro since 1996, during which time
he has raced in three editions of the Tour de France and four editions of Vuelta a España (the Tour of Spain). He has been,
for the greater part of his career, a member of the Kelme team, but in 2003 joined T-Mobile Team (then named Team Telekom).
Shane John Kelly OAM (born 7 January 1972, Ararat, Victoria) is an Australian track racing cyclist. Kelly specialized in the
men's 1000 m time trial, commonly known as the Kilo.
Léon Hendrik Jan van Bon is a road racing cyclist from the Netherlands, who won the silver medal in the men's points race
at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He won his first major race at the professionals in 1998, winning the HEW
Cyclassics. In 2001 he claimed the overall-victory in the Ronde van Nederland.
Erwin Vervecken (Herentals, 23 March 1972) is a Belgian professional cyclist specialising in cyclo-cross. He grew up in Lille
but now resides in his home town, Herentals, with his wife Liesbeth.
