Geraint Howell Thomas, MBE (born 25 May 1986) is a Welsh professional racing cyclist who rides for the UCI Professional Continental
team Barloworld. He is a multiple track cycling world champion and Olympic gold medalist in the team pursuit.
Roman Kreuziger is a Czech professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTour Team Liquigas. Kreuziger is an all-rounder, with
climbing and time trial abilities, becoming a contender for the General Classification of stage races. He is also considered
one of the biggest talents of the sport after winning the 2004 Junior Road World Championships and the 2008 Tour de Suisse
at the age of 22.
Gerald Michael Ciolek is a German professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTour Team Milram. In 2005, Ciolek won the German
National Championship road race at age 18, the youngest ever rider to do so. Ciolek started racing at senior events in May
2005, with Team AKUD Arnolds Sicherheit, where he had a very successful season.
Robert Gesink (born May 31, 1986 in Varsseveld) is a Dutch professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTeam Rabobank. With
his natural climbing capabilities and improving time trial skills Gesink is being touted as one of the biggest prospects of
the sport.
Guo Shuang is a Chinese professional track cyclist. She won two bronze medals at the 2006 UCI Track Cycling World Championships,
in Sprint and Keirin, and two silver medals at the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, again in Sprint and Keirin.
