he often wore and his attacking style of riding led to him being dubbed 'Il Pirata' (the pirate) by the adoring fans. However,
his career was beset by drug abuse allegations, following his failure of a blood test in the 1999 Giro d'Italia.
Tyler Hamilton is a former American professional road bicycle racer and Olympic gold medalist, whose career and reputation
were repeatedly marred by doping scandals. He counts a 2008 U.S. National Championship and a gold medal from the 2004 Olympic
games among his palmarès. The first public evidence of his blood doping came in the 2004 Olympics, when he was accused of
blood doping by Olympic officials.

Quick Step. Born in Ipswich, Queensland, Davis resides in Bundaberg, Queensland and in Spain. Known for his sprinting ability,
he started competitive cycling at the age of 10, and turned professional in 2002. He is also the brother of fellow cyclist,
Scott Davis.
Roberto Heras Hernández is a Spanish former professional road bicycle racer who won the Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain) a
record-tying three times. He broke the record with a fourth win in 2005, but was disqualified for taking EPO.
Leonardo Piepoli is an Italian professional road racing cyclist. He most recently rode for the Saunier Duval-Prodir Team on
the UCI ProTour, but had his contract suspended in July 2008 during the Tour de France amid allegations of the use of the
blood boosting drug EPO in the team.
Pierrick Fédrigo is a French cyclist who rides for Bbox Bouygues Telecom in the UCI ProTour. He was the French national road
champion in 2005 and won Stage 14 of the 2006 Tour de France in Gap and Stage 9 of the 2009 Tour de France in Tarbes. His
nickname is "le nez de Marmande" (The nose of Marmande) due to his remarkable nose.
