Jacques Anquetil

Jacques Anquetil

Jacques Anquetil (8 January 1934 – 18 November 1987) was a French road racing cyclist and the first cyclist to win the Tour de France five times, in 1957 and from 1961 to 1964. He stated before the 1961 Tour that he would gain the yellow jersey on day one and wear it all through the tour, a tall order with two previous winners in the field - Charly Gaul and Federico Bahamontes - but he did just that.

Stuart O'Grady

Stuart O'Grady OAM (born 6 August 1973 in Adelaide), nicknamed Stuey, is an Australian professional road bicycle racer on UCI Pro Tour Team Saxo Bank, who started as a track cyclist. He and Graeme Brown won a gold medal in Men's Madison at the 2004 Summer Olympics. O'Grady also won Paris-Roubaix in 2007. O'Grady has ridden the Tour de France since 1998 and contended for the sprinters' green jersey, finishing second in the 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2005 races.

Alberto Contador Velasco (born 6 December 1982 in Pinto, Madrid) is a SpainSpanish professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTeam Template:CtAST. He was the winner of the 2007 Tour de France with the Template:CtDSC2007 team, and the 2008 Giro d'Italia, the 2008 Vuelta a España, and the 2009 Tour de France with Astana. He is the fifth racer in history, and the first Spaniard, to win all three Grand Tour (cycling)Grand Tours of road cycling.

Serhiy Honchar

Serhiy Honchar is a Ukrainian professional road racing cyclist, racing for team Preti Mangimi. He is a former world time trial champion. In the 2006 Tour de France, Honchar wore the maillot jaune after a time-trial win in stage 7. In time trialing, Honchar rocks the top of his body to get the most out of a big gear. He beat Landis, Zabriskie, Lang, Rogers, Kloden, Evans and various others in the individual time trials in the 2006 Tour de France.

Peter Van Petegem

Peter van Petegem is a former professional road racing cyclist. Van Petegem last rode for Quick Step-Innergetic, in 2007. He lived in Horebeke. He was a specialist in spring classics, one of nine riders to win the Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix in the same season. His last race was the GP Briek Schotte in Desselgem on 11 September 2007.
