Lance Edward Armstrong (born Lance Edward Gunderson on September 18, 1971) is an American professional road racing cyclist who rides for UCI ProTeam Astana. He is also the founder and chairman of the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer research and support. He won the Tour de France a record-breaking seven consecutive years, from 1999 to 2005.

Alexander Nikolaevich Vinokourov, also written Alexandre Vinokourov, is a Kazakhstani professional road bicycle racer. He is often referred to as "Vino" and is an all-rounder. Vinokourov was banned for a year for blood doping following during the 2007 Tour de France and subsequently retired.. In September 2008 he announced his intention to return to cycling in 2009. As of August 2009, Vinokourov is riding on the professional level again, rejoining Astana.

Thomas Voeckler has been a professional road bicycle racer since 2001. He rides for Bbox Bouygues Telecom, formerly known as Bouygues Télécom Brioches la Boulangère and Bonjour. He comes from the Alsace region but later moved to Martinique, where he was nicknamed "petit blanc" due to his small stature and pale complexion. He is considered by many to be France's sweetheart (le chouchou) because of his young looks and his habit of sticking out his tongue in races.

Robert Förster is a German professional road racing cyclist, specialising in bunch sprints, currently riding for Team Milram. He turned professional in 2001, initially riding for Team Nürnberger. He is 1.77 m (5 ft 9+⁄2 in) tall and weighs 81 kilograms. His career highlights have been wins in the final stage 21 of the Giro d'Italia 2006, and stage 15 of the 2006 Vuelta.

Jason Kenny

Jason Francis Kenny MBE is an English track cyclist, specialising in the individual and team sprints. After winning multiple World and European Junior titles in 2006 and achieving medals in the under 23 European championships in 2007, Kenny was selected ahead of Ross Edgar to compete for Great Britain at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Along with Chris Hoy and Jamie Staff, he won gold medal in the team sprint, breaking the world record in the qualifying round.
