Erik Zabel (born July 7, 1970 in East Berlin) is a former German professional road bicycle racer who last raced for UCI ProTour
Team Milram. With over 200 professional career wins he is considered by some to be one of the greatest German cyclists and
best cycling sprinters of cycling history.
Alejandro Valverde Belmonte is a Spanish road racing cyclist for UCI ProTeam Caisse d'Epargne. Valverde's biggest wins have
been the 2009 Vuelta a España, the Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2006, 2008 and 2006 UCI ProTour series championship. He has twice
collected the silver medal in the UCI Road World Championships, in 2003 and 2005. Valverde is rare in combining different
specialities in road bicycle racing, being a strong climber, time trialist and sprinter.
Floyd Landis (born October 14, 1975) is an American cyclist, from California. He currently rides for UCI Continental team
OUCH Pro Cycling Team. He is an all-around rider, with special skills in climbing and time-trialing, and is extremely good
on the descent. Landis turned professional in 1999 with the Mercury Cycling Team. He joined the US Postal Service team in
2002, and moved to the Phonak Hearing Systems team in 2005.
Óscar Pereiro Sio is a Galician professional road bicycle racer best known for winning the 2006 Tour de France after the original
winner, Floyd Landis, was disqualified for failing a series of doping tests. Pereiro currently rides for the Caisse d'Epargne
cycling team. He is a former member of the Portugal-based team Porta da Ravessa (2000 to 2001) and the Swiss-based team Phonak
Hearing Systems (2002 to 2005).
Michael Boogerd is a Dutch former professional road bicycle racer. He was one of the leaders of a generation of Dutch cyclists
in the late 1990s and early 2000s, together with teammate Erik Dekker, even inspiring Dutch authors to write a book called
"Michael & Erik" about this generation, and the two of them in particular. He began his professional career in 1994, joining
WordPerfect. In 1995 the team changed name to Novell, before Rabobank in 1996 became main sponsor and name for the team.
