Carrara Stadium or Carrara Sports Complex is a sporting venue on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Carrara. It received substantial redevelopment work prior to the entry of the Brisbane Bears for their entry to the VFL/AFL in 1987, but since the Bears relocated to Brisbane Cricket Ground in 1993, it has been used for other sports including rugby league, rugby union and even baseball.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a bridge spanning Tampa Bay, Florida, with a cable-stayed main span, and a length of 29,040 feet. It is part of I-275 and US 19, connecting St. Petersburg in Pinellas County and Terra Ceia in Manatee County, Florida, passing through Hillsborough County waters. Construction of the current bridge began in 1982, and the completed bridge was dedicated on February 7, 1987. The new bridge cost $244 million to build, and was opened to traffic on April 20, 1987.

The stadium was built in 1987 and holds 67,000. It also has the largest stadium roof in the world. Thompson-Boling Arena

Thompson-Boling Arena is a 21,000 seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. The arena opened in 1987. It is home to the Tennessee Volunteers (men) and Lady Vols (women) basketball teams. It is named after B. Ray Thompson and former university president Dr. Edward J. Boling. The basketball court is named "The Summitt" after Lady Vols basketball coach Pat Summitt. It replaced the Stokely Athletic Center.
