The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At 321 m (1,050 ft), it is the second tallest building in the world used exclusively as a hotel. However, the structure of the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang North Korea (unfinished for over 20 years), is 9 m (30 ft) taller than the '"Burj Al Arab'", and the Rose Tower, also in Dubai, topped Burj Al Arab's height at 333 m (1,090 ft), becoming the world's tallest hotel.

The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and sixth largest by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the Burj Dubai complex, the 20-billion-dollar project is the medium in total area with 1,200 shops. The mall was designed by the American architectural firm, F+A Architects. Al Maktoum International Airport is a major new airport currently under construction in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates. Previous working names have included "Jebel Ali International Airport," "Jebel Ali Airport City" and "Dubai World Central International Airport". It will be officially known as Al Maktoum International Airport. It has been named after the late Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the former ruler of Dubai.

Rose Tower

The Rose Rotana (also known as Rose Tower) is a 72-storey hotel located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the world's tallest building used exclusively as a hotel. Originally, the tower was to be 380 m (1,200 ft) high, but further design modification reduced it to 333 m (1,090 ft). Construction began in 2004, and was completed in 2007. On 24 October 2006, the building reached its full height with the addition of the spire.
