The Johns Hopkins Hospital is the teaching hospital and biomedical research facility of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, located in Baltimore, Maryland. It was founded using money from a bequest by philanthropist Johns Hopkins. The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine are the founding institutions of modern American medicine and are the birthplace of numerous traditions including “rounds,” “residents” and “housestaff”.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, formerly known as Francis Scott Key Medical Center and Baltimore City Hospital, is a hospital and medical office center in East Baltimore. It is located along Eastern Avenue near Bayview Boulevard. The hospital is part of the Johns Hopkins Health System, and includes the Hopkins Burn Center, which is the only burn trauma and surgical facility in the Baltimore area. R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center

R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (also known simply as Shock Trauma or Shocktrauma) is a free-standing trauma hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and is part of the University of Maryland Medical Center. It was the first facility in the world to treat shock. Shock Trauma was founded by R Adams Cowley, who is considered the father of trauma medicine.

James Lawrence Kernan Hospital

James Lawrence Kernan Hospital is a historic hospital building and grounds located in Woodlawn, Maryland at Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland. It was built between 1860 and 1867 as Radnor Park, a two-story, five-bay, Victorian mansion. In the first several decades of the 20th century, alterations were carried out to the original house which made the house over into a combination of the Greek and Colonial Revival styles.
