John Radcliffe Hospital

The John Radcliffe Hospital is a large tertiary teaching hospital in Oxford, England. It is the main teaching hospital for Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. As such, it is a well developed centre of medical research. It also incorporates the Medical School of the University of Oxford. It is part of Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust. It was named after John Radcliffe, an 18th-century physician graduated from Oxford University.

Radcliffe Infirmary

The Radcliffe Infirmary was a hospital in central Oxford, England, located at the southern end of Woodstock Road on the western side, backing onto Walton Street. The Radcliffe Infirmary, named after physician John Radcliffe, opened in 1770 and was Oxford's first hospital. It was finally closed in 2007. In 1758, the initial proposals to build a hospital in Oxford were put forward at a meeting of the Radcliffe Trustees, who were administering John Radcliffe's estate.

Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) is a three star orthopaedic hospital, providing routine and specialist orthopaedic and rheumatological services to the people of Oxfordshire. Specialist services, such as the treatment of Osteomyelitis and bone tumours, and the rehabilitation of those with limb amputation or congenital deficiency, and those with neurological disabilities are provided for patients from across the UK and abroad.

Churchill Hospital

The Churchill Hospital is a teaching hospital in Oxford, England. The hospital is primarily a centre for the treatment of cancer patients, but also houses teaching facilities for Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. It is part of Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust. It was named after Sir Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom when a hospital was first built on the site in 1940.

Warneford Hospital

The Warneford Hospital opened as the Radcliffe Lunatic Asylum and subsequently (but no longer) named the Warneford Lunatic Asylum is a hospital in Oxford, England. The Warneford and the Littlemore Hospital are the major mental health hospitals serving Oxford. The hospital is in Headington two and a half miles east of Oxford city centre. It was the first hospital to be based east of Oxford. Almost all of the major Oxford hospitals are now based in Headington.

The Oxford Clinic for Specialist Surgery ("Oxford Clinic") is a venture led by surgeons and physicians who work at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust, including Mr Gavin Bowden, its founding Chairman and Spinal Surgeon. The organisation has been founded on goals of clinical and academic excellence and provides the full range of musculoskeletal care to all patients. The Oxford Clinic work collaboratively with the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and other NHS organisations.
