Siriraj Hospital

Siriraj Hospital

Siriraj Hospital is the oldest hospital in Thailand, located in Bangkok on the west bank of Chao Phraya River, opposite Thammasat University's Tha Phrachan campus. It is the primary teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The hospital was founded by King Chulalongkorn in 1888, two years after a worldwide cholera outbreak.

It is owned and operated by the Christian Medical Foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and is a part of global Adventist healthcare network. Ramathibodi Hospital

Ramathibodi Hospital is a university hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital is a faculty within Mahidol University and the fourth oldest medical school in Thailand. It was approved in August 1964 under the Second National Economic and Social Development Plan (1967-1971), when medical demand saw the Thai government seeking to increase the number of doctors and nurses in the country.
