Surendranagar is an administrative district in the state of Gujarat in India, situated around 22° 43' N latitude and 71° 43' E longitude containing the district headquarters. The population is approximately 1,515,148. Surendranagar is also known as Zalawad, as the city of Surendranagar was the home of many Zala Rajputs.
