David Harris Hill is a former college and professional American football player. Hill was born in Lanett, Alabama and attended Lanett High School. He graduated in 1958 and attended Auburn University along with fellow Lanett High School alumnus, Bobby Hunt. Hunt played quarterback and defensive back while Hunt played offensive and defensive line.

Reggie Slack is an American born Canadian and American football quarterback. Slack was Auburn University's starting quarterback when the Crimson Tide from the University of Alabama came to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the very first time in the 1989 season to resume the storied Alabama-Auburn football rivalry. Auburn won the game 30-20 over an Alabama team that was unbeaten and ranked #2 in the nation. Prior to 1989, all Alabama-Auburn games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

Chuck Hurston

Charles Frederick Hurston is a former professional American football defensive end who played seven professional seasons from 1964-1971. He was draffted by the American Football League's Kansas City Chiefs in 1965. After winning the American Football League Championship with the Chiefs in 1966, he started for them in the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game.
