Dave Middleton

David Middleton (November 23, 1933 – December 29, 2007) was an American football wide receiver, who played for the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He played college football at Auburn University. Middleton returned to Ann Arbor and practiced medicine in the area. He played recreation softball in Ann Arbor during the 70's, 80's and 90's. In 1997 he suffered a stroke and in 2001 he moved to Huron Woods, an assisted living facility.

Joe Childress

Joe Childress was a running back in the NFL. For his entire career, he played for the St. Louis Cardinals. Joe left the Cardinals to coach the Houston Oilers. In his 40's, Joe contracted cancer and began the battle which ultimately he will lose. Even after his death, Joe's wife, Bonnie, still carries on with the legacy he left behind. He has received numerous honors in his name that she will cherish forever. Joe was a proud father of four and a loving husband.
