Peter Charles Archibald Ewart Jennings, CM (July 29, 1938 – August 7, 2005) was a Canadian-American journalist and news anchor.
He was the sole anchor of ABC's World News Tonight from 1983 until his death in 2005 of complications from lung cancer. A
high-school dropout, he transformed himself into one of American television's most prominent journalists. Jennings started
his career early, hosting a Canadian radio show at the age of nine.
David J. Frum (born June 30, 1960) is a Canadian-born conservative journalist active in both the United States and Canadian
political arenas. A former economic speechwriter for President George W. Bush, he is also the author of the first "insider"
book about the Bush presidency. His editorial columns have appeared in a variety of Canadian and American magazines and newspapers,
including the National Post and The Week. He is also the founder of NewMajority. com, a political group blog.
June Rose Callwood, CC, O. Ont. was a Canadian journalist, author and social activist. She was born in Chatham, Ontario and
grew up in nearby Belle River.
Ashleigh Banfield is a Canadian-American journalist who currently hosts Open Court and Hollywood Heat on Tru TV, where she
reports on domestic and pop culture issues. Prior to joining the network, Banfield worked for MSNBC and reported from numerous
overseas locations, including the Middle East and Central Asia. She received several Emmy Awards for her body of journalistic
work, and criticized media coverage of the conflict in Iraq in April 2003.
Edward Graydon Carter is a Canadian-born American journalist and author. He is editor of Vanity Fair. He also co-founded,
with Kurt Andersen and Tom Phillips, the satirical monthly magazine Spy in 1986.
