Antonio Inoki, born Kanji Inoki on February 20, 1943, is a professional wrestling promoter and retired Japanese professional
wrestler and mixed martial artist who now resides in New York City. His stage name was inspired by Antonino Rocca, a professional
wrestler. In his career as a wrestler and later New Japan Pro Wrestling owner, Inoki became an icon in professional wrestling
and mixed martial arts.
Yoshihiro Tajiri (田尻 義博, Tajiri Yoshihiro, born September 29, 1970), is a Japanese professional wrestler, best known for his
appearances in the United States with Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment. He is currently competing
in Hustle as Tajiri.
Yoshihiro Asai,, better known as Último Dragón, is a Japanese professional wrestler and actor. In addition to having trained
in Japan, Asai learned to wrestle in the lucha libre style while working in Mexico. Asai is credited with popularizing the
"Asai Moonsault". Asai is the only professional wrestler in the world to hold 11 titles at the same time. On October 11, 1996,
he won the J-Crown, a unification of eight junior (lightweight) division titles from various international promotions.
Shohei Baba (Baba Shōhei, January 23, 1938–January 31, 1999) was a professional wrestler and co-founder of All Japan Pro Wrestling.
He was also known as Giant Baba. Baba, along with Antonio Inoki, became one of the most famous Japanese wrestlers of his era,
with a popularity in Japan comparable to Hulk Hogan's in the United States of America. He was also a 3 time NWA Champion.
Shunsuke Nakamura is a Japanese football (soccer) player who currently plays for Espanyol in the Spanish top flight. He is
one of the most prominent and successful Asian players to have played in Europe and on 13 September 2006 became the first
Japanese player to score in the UEFA Champions League and the second Asian player to do so. He is also well known for his
free kick-taking abilities.
Ayumi Morita is a Japanese female tennis player. She reached her career-high ranking of 65th in the world on June 15 2009
and as such is currently the second highest ranked Japanese player in the world, after Ai Sugiyama (ranked 40th), and the
sixth overall in Asia. At junior level, she reached a career high ranking of No. 3. On September 16, 2008, she beat world
No. 19 Ágnes Szávay 6–7 (7–9), 7–5, 6–4 in the Toray Pan Pacific Open.
