Michel François Platini is a French former football player, manager and current president of UEFA. Platini was a member of the French national team that won the 1984 European Championship, a tournament in which he was voted the best player and top goalscorer. He participated in the 1978, 1982 and 1986 World Cups, reaching the semi-finals in the latter two.

Jérôme Leroy (footballer)

Jérôme Leroy is a French footballer currently playing for Rennes as an attacking midfielder. Leroy started playing for Paris Saint-Germain, going on to represent Stade Lavallois, Olympique de Marseille (being first loaned by PSG then sold) and En Avant Guingamp. In 2003 he reached the French Cup final, also with PSG, before finally reaching promised land with FC Sochaux in the same competition.
