Abédi Ayew, also known as Abédi "Pelé" (born November 5, 1964) is a former Ghana International football player and captain.
He was named African Footballer of the Year in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Additionally, Pelé named him as one of the top 125 greatest
living footballers in March 2004.
