Trevor McGregor Steven was a highly-regarded England footballer who shot to fame with the successful Everton side of the 1980s.
A right-sided midfielder with great vision and pinpoint crossing ability, Steven grew through the ranks at Burnley, making
his debut in 1981. Over the next two seasons he became a regular supplier of goals and Everton boss Howard Kendall, who was
building a new team based on youth, decided to bid for him.
